Despite the technical difficulties we encountered in making the marigold seed tapes, the effort was worth it and the practical tagetes strips quickly became a favourite with our customers. Please note that flower seeds usually require a higher soil temperature for germination than vegetable seeds. When sowing flowers from seed on a strip or disk, do not clutter the paper with too much soil and keep the soil moisture constant.
